Similar to Disney, Tivoli World uses it's own currency which they call the "Tivolino". Alternatively the "SUPER tivolino" ticket enables unlimited access to all rides and attractions. Recent additions to the park are Tivoliandia which is an area of 11 rides for very small children and babies, and Tivoli Agua a water mountain flume ride.
Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella, before you reach the small town of San Pedro de Alcantara. This is the place to be pampered yachtside and ogle those fabulous luxury yachts while sipping a drink at one of the many open air restaurants and bars. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views.
Fuengirola Zoo is situated right in the centre of Fuengirola, about a five minute walk from both the train and bus stations. It is a Zoo without cages, the animals are all kept in enclosures where you can look through glass walls or peer over the walls or through viewing points.
The architecture of Benalmadena Marina is a mix of Indian, Arabic and Andalucian and is surprisingly harmonious. Several little bridges span the water giving access to the innovative residential islands where three blocks of deluxe apartments are housed. Cars are parked unobtrusively under awnings supported by huge carved pillars and small leafy gardens hide amphorae lying like lost treasure.
Situated right next to Tivoli World, the Benalmadena Cablecar runs to the summit of Monte Calamorro. From the top you can enjoy fantastic views over the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada and on clear days of Gibraltar and the North African coast. Each of the cars has space for four people and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. At the top there is a cafeteria with terrace overlooking the coast.
Aqualand Torremolinos is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol, conveniently located just 10 minutes from the town centre. There are a host of rides for all the family to enjoy; including the Kamikaze, Black-hole, Twister, Crazy-race, Rapids & the all new Boomerang (the only one of its kind on the Costa). Also included in the entrance fee are a multitude of swimming pools, lazy river, wave machine, 18 hole mini golf, & plenty of garden areas to relax in.
Selwo Safari Adventure Park is unique where animals of 5 continents co-exist. It is a genuinely excellent day out for all the family with not just hundreds of species of animals from the around the globe including Safari favorites, Lions and Tigers but includes a driven Safari Trek and numerous internal rides, attractions, restaurants, eateries and gift shops for adults and children alike.
Crocodile Park, situated in Torremolinos in the heart of the Costa del Sol, houses prehistoric creatures which have miraculously survived 200 million years of evolution. These carnivores knew the dinosaurs and use the same cold, merciless hunting techniques. From a distance of less than 2 metres, you can wonder at the gigantic crocodiles by silently walking beside them, observing the secrets of one of the most fascinating creatures of our world.
